G71 Engineering is a electric vehicle and power systems manufacturer that offers modular and scalable solutions.
We offer small series fully certified electrical systems to convert diesel vehicles to electric with an optional hydrogen powered range extender/ power outlet. Our market focus is urban applications to remove emissions from city centres while meeting new regulations that ban combustion engines from 2025 in Europe.
Our systems are fully tested, modular and perfectly suited for our client needs. Ready to go building blocks consist of hydrogen powered fuel cells, batteries and eDrives. Our VCU and control app from your phone integrate the system and allows you to monitor the system anywhere you need to be.
We have the in house capability to engineer modular electrical systems for vehicles. From last mile delivery vehicles to full heavy duty trucks.
Ready to be charged by electrical energy or refueled by hydrogen.

What we offer

Modular Power Solutions: MPS

There are many vehicles manufacturers who haven’t got an electric solution ready yet. Especially for off-road heavy goods equipment but also in the mining industry. Here we integrate our preferred systems and supply the complete CKD kit to the OEM to assemble on the normal production line.
We offer 2 supply routes: We supply the CKD kit, and the OEM fits it (we offer training) or we setup a small assembly line and fit it for the OEM. We can do this from small diggers all the way to full heavy goods trucks

Altair Power Pack: APP

Hydrogen Range Extender/ On board Generator
We see a substantial market demand in the 3,500 – 7,500 KG GVW truck market where OEM’s have the first full electric versions ready but the range is limited to 70-140 km. Often not adequate for the use case but more batteries simply don’t fit.
Here we add the best fuel cell available on the market and integrate it into the vehicle. The Altair Power Pack, fully integrated with fuel cell and hydrogen tanks. Ready and easy to fit to new vehicles.
This delivers 2 functional options: Use the APS Power Pack as range extender to >500 km or use the same module as a 100 kVa generator when the vehicle is parked up.

Modular Power Solutions (MPS)

Altair Power Solutions offers modular power systems for on-highway and off-highway applications.
The OEM/customer approaches us, we define the best solution and we supply you with the complete kit in a 3-5 year contract.

If the OEM does not have capacity, G71Engineering can carry out the vehicle assembly in the Netherlands as we have done for years.

Due to market demand and lack of OEM solutions we focus on urban applications because here the regulations are the most challenging and become law within the next 12-36 months. Typical applications which we focus on, are shown here. All engineering and our series production is done in Staphorst, the Netherlands.
